The Safe Rider tier is free for eligible riders because anonymised safety data contributes to Australian road safety research. That funds the platform. Here is exactly what leaves your device — and what never does.

ARCHITECTURE-LEVEL PROTECTION
Processing happens on your device, not our servers
Your ride is converted to anonymous road segment data on your phone before anything is uploaded. The original journey is deleted immediately.
Your identity is mathematically separated before upload
Every data point is cryptographically detached from its source. There is no key, no lookup table, no way to reverse it back to you. Even we cannot link the data to a specific rider.
Your home zone is a hardware-level blind spot
Coordinates within your privacy radius are clipped on your device before any transmission occurs. They are never created as server-side data — not encrypted, not stored, simply absent.
Our database holds road data, not rider data
What our servers contain: anonymous road segment IDs, hazard classifications, and event signatures. What they don't contain: routes, identities, or anything that forms a coherent picture of any specific rider's movements.
Our server doors could be left open. There is nothing here that could be used against a rider.

Riders under 18 years of age are welcome to use all safety and navigation features. Data collection participation, the contribution leaderboard, and insurance-related incentives are not available to riders under 18. These features are automatically disabled for verified under-18 accounts.
